PART TIME THEATRICAL AGENT'S ASSISTANT - MATERNITY COVER


We are a large theatrical agency based in London’s West End, however, this position is for a busy home/office based in Buckhurst Hill, IG9 to assist an agent currently working from home. 10 to 20 Hours per week over 2 or 3 days. Prospects for more. Some flexibility on days worked and start/end time but our preference is 10am to 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. £12.50 per hour for a probational 3-month contract. Start ASAP.

 

Whilst this is initially for a maternity cover for an estimated 9 to 12 months, we may be looking to maintain a role for the new candidate after this period.


Main responsibilities and duties 

  • Answering telephone enquiries 
  • Data inputting include payroll information 
  • Manage the office independently when the Agent is away from the office 
  • Occasionally submitting clients for television and commercial work 
  • Taking client bookings, inputting data and ensuring correct information is distributed 
  • To assist Agent with relevant administration support including printing letters, scanning contracts, writing biographies, completing contract information, postage labelling and general office administration 


Required knowledge and skills 

  • Ability to problem solve
  • Attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner 
  • Good, confident computer ability (pref. Apple Mac), knowledge of spreadsheets, word-processing and data-inputting 
  • Minimum A-Level English. Excellent spelling. 
  • Quick typing skills
  • Self-motivated and efficient
