About

What's it all about, ACCESS?

Taking care of the established, nurturing the new.

We are an independent theatrical agency maintaining a boutique approach to talent management. We are very proud of our business and our fresh approach to representation.

We have enjoyed a reputation as one of the UK’s most respected and diversified talent agencies and we continue to represent some of the finest talent in the country.

We are committed to nurturing established artistes as well as up-and-coming talent, and we are constantly pursuing the best opportunities for all our Actors and Creatives.

Who We Are

We love what we do and it shows. With more than 20 years of experience, we know our industry better than our qwerty keyboards. There’s no challenge too big or too small and we dedicate our utmost energy to every person we represent.

What We do

We represent a diverse and acclaimed roster of talent in every current and emerging area of entertainment, including Actors, Dancers, Singers, Actor-Musicians, Musical Directors, Directors, Choreographers, Composers, Writers and Playwrights.

Our Actors and Creatives work successfully in London’s West End, Broadway, National and International Tours, Repertory Theatre, Television and Film.

We maintain a unified client roster, where all our departments specialising in Film, Theatre, Television and Commercials, collaborate harmoniously with each other. This synergy allows us to provide a comprehensive and dedicated environment, offering an efficient personal management service to our clients across all sectors of the industry.

We work hard to both advise, and advance the careers of everyone we represent and our ethos is simple: A modern agency for the modern industry - Small enough to know our talent personally, yet big enough to make things happen.

What's so cool about Access?

Agents of Experience

We consider ourselves a career management company – we only work towards our Actor's and Creative's selected career path, we don’t ‘mass mail’ CV’s in the hope that some of them get through.

No one is pigeon-holed! Full submissions to Theatre, TV, Film and Commercials and other sectors of the industry they are suitable for.

We KNOW THE BUSINESS – we attend all of the shows currently in production in the UK, Europe and USA, and keep detailed breakdowns of all roles and  our Actor's suitability.

We dedicate time each week to investigating new television & film productions so that we are on top of any new developments.

Communication

Our Actors need to know everything about their castings and why they sometimes aren't successful - so we will always do our best to get feedback, then discuss and act upon the information we are given in order to get them the support they need to succeed next time.

There's more...

We have ongoing workshops of new musicals, plays and screenplays exclusive to our client-base and a full creative department developing and producing new work.

Database of over 40,000 songs, backing tracks and sheet music plus support with scripts and monologues via our own creatives and recommended teachers.

Low Commission

We use a simple, easy to understand low-rate structure. We have no up front fees and we are not commission led – in truth we believe that obtaining good work for our Actors and Creatives at a fair and reasonable rate will enable us to have a LONG and happy working relationships.

If you are paying your agent more than 10%, then perhaps you should contact us?
Some Frequently Asked Questions*...   (*not asked that often to be honest - but you might like to know the answers anyway...)
  • Why are you called Access?

Have you noticed that most agents like to use their own names to trade under? We believe that it is your names that should be ‘in lights’ . Therefore we chose a name that was easy to remember and a name that would place us at the top of alphabetic sorting (Aardvark Artiste Management didn’t quite have the same ring).

  • Are you are co-operative agency?

    No

  • What areas do your Actors and Creatives work in?

We supply artistes to all sectors of the industry. We do not typecast anyone and will send them for work in all sectors they are suitable for.

  • How would you describe yourselves?

A modern agency for a modern industry. Small enough to know our talent personally and take care of them, yet big enough to make things happen.

  • I've sent loads of letters to other agents without reply, how do I get an agent?

Be you. Be brilliant. Be positive. You've chosen a difficult industry but it can be amazing with the right attitude. We can't take everybody that applies but we will definitely consider you if you meet the criteria.

  • I’d like to apply to the agency – who should I contact?

You may apply to us at any time but please bear in mind the following:

We will only consider representation if:

    • You are a NEW graduate (or about to be) from a recognised training school and we can see you in performance soon.
    • You have appeared in a MAJOR National tour or West End production.
    • You have appeared in a MAJOR Television or Film production and have footage we can view.
    • You are an Actor-Musician and play at least two instruments to a professional standard.

Please note that we do not represent extras or walk-ons.

If you do meet the above criteria and would like to apply for representation, please send a recent photograph and CV (or Spotlight link) by email to cv@access-uk.com

Address your application to NEW CLIENTS MANAGER, you do not need a name.

Regretfully, due to the number of applications we receive, we can no longer reply to all applicants but will reply to suitable candidates for representation.

We no longer accept hard-copy postal applications as we want to be kind to the environment :-)
